• 24 Chinese, Vietnamese women rescued from human traffickers

  MANILA, Philippines — Twenty-four foreigners believed to be victims of human trafficking were rescued in Parañaque on Monday night, the Philippine National Police (PNP) reported yesterday.
  The victims – 14 Vietnamese and 10 Chinese women – were rescued by police during a raid on a condominium complex in Barangay Tambo at around 11:30 p.m., according to PNP officer-in-charge Lt. Gen. Jose Chiquito Malayo.
  Malayo said the operation stemmed from an intelligence report that several Asian women were being kept against their will in a condominium building in Parañaque.
  Two Chinese men who were guarding the victims were arrested during the operation, Brig. Gen. Jonnel Estomo, chief of the National Capital Region Police Office, said.
  Police said they are preparing criminal charges against Du Wei, 36, and Fang Zeng, 28.
  Estomo said they would endorse the victims to the Department of Social Welfare and Development for debriefing and counseling.

  အခုနှစ် ဇူလိုင်လအထိ ခုနှစ်လအတွင်း နိုင်ငံခြားရင်းနှီးမြှုပ်နှံမှု အားလုံးထဲမှာ အာဆီယံ နိုင်ငံတွေ စုစုပေါင်း အမေရိကန်ဒေါ်လာ ၁.၃ ဘီလီယံကျော်နဲ့ အများဆုံးဖြစ်နေပါတယ်။
  တရုတ်နိုင်ငံရဲ့ ရင်းနှီးမြှုပ်နှံမှုကတော့ အမေရိကန်ဒေါ်လာ ၂၅၇ သန်းကျော်နဲ့ ဒုတိယ အများဆုံးရှိပါတယ်။
